The project? Ardbeg wanted to introduce non-whisky drinkers to their peaty product. Inspired by the Haar – a mysterious, cold Scottish sea fog – they sought to vaporize the whisky into a cloud that could be inhaled. We researched and produced the perfect size and shape glass, with a lid, to hold a stable amount of vapor. The result? Lots of consumers loved the soft taste of the Ardbeg Haar and were inspired to try more peated whisky. And the unusual way of serving created a stir (not literally) – and lots of media coverage.
