The project? Zacapa Rum wanted a simple but theatrical way of finishing cocktails that referenced its “In the Clouds” campaign. We suggested using a cloud of Zacapa itself, by pouring the rum through dry ice. We developed an innovative jug that held the liquid, as well as a capsule of dry ice pellets suspended above it. Tilting the jug causes the rum to activate the dry ice, dispensing a dense vapour of rum. The result? The jug worked perfectly, and the brand was delighted with the effect.
