The project? Oblix in London wanted a special vessel to serve their Rooster cocktail made with Zacapa. The idea was already in place: a metal coconut balanced on a pair of rooster legs – what else! But how to develop and produce it? We worked with a team of artists to get the shape right and the legs ‘just so’. And produced a short run of 100 pieces in antique brass, with the Zacapa petate band around the top. The result? The drink is now Oblix’s signature serve. As eye-catching and disruptive in the bar, as when shared on social media.
